Privacy Policy

Tappy Cubs is a coloring app made for young children. We built it so that it collects no data at all. This policy explains exactly what that means.

What we collect

Nothing.

Tappy Cubs does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information or usage data — from children or from anyone else.

• No names, email addresses, or accounts
• No contacts, location, or microphone access
• The camera is used only when a grown-up photographs a child's drawing to color. The photo is turned into line art on your device, is never uploaded, and is not kept.
• Choosing a photo uses Apple's system picker, so the app never accesses your photo library
• No analytics, advertising identifiers, or tracking of any kind
• No cookies and no third-party SDKs

How the app works without data

• Tappy Cubs works completely offline and makes no internet connections. There is nothing in the app that sends data anywhere.
• Artwork your child creates, and drawings a grown-up adds, are saved only on your device, inside the app's private storage. They are never uploaded. Deleting the app deletes them.
• The app contains no advertising and no in-app purchases.

Children's privacy

Tappy Cubs is designed for children and is listed in the App Store Kids Category. Because the app collects no data whatsoever, no personal information from children is ever processed, and nothing is shared with third parties. This approach is intended to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the GDPR, and Apple's Kids Category requirements.

A parental gate protects actions intended for grown-ups (such as adding or deleting drawings and deleting saved artwork).

Changes to this policy

If a future version of the app ever changes how data is handled (for example, optional purchases), we will update this policy first and note the change here before releasing that version.

• September 26, 2026: added the optional camera and photo import of a child's own drawing. The photo is processed on the device only and is not kept; nothing is collected.
